Horror movies for Smiley Faces...
OK, this first one isn't too serious. This is the first Smiley Face picture I did, and it was inspired partly by memories of watching late Friday night monster and/or SF classics with my mom. Those same SF classics also inspired the title "Smiley Faces from Outer Space"; which is a spoof on the old 50's SF invasion movies.

I have heard that the phrase "you made me mad" is incorrect because we should take responsibility for our own emotions instead of putting the cause with others (or at least that is what I try to tell myself)... |

Tolerance
Expecting others to be like us seems to be human nature. As much as I dislike it in others, I expressed 1 side of the intolerance shown in the middle 2 panels (expecting everyone to have seen Star Wars). We can all use reminders that it's OK for others to be different from us. |
